Bourjois healthy mix foundation review

What bourjois say: 'It's exquisite glide-on formula blends onto the skin for a flawless, yet natural finish'

Packaging- The foundation comes in a plastic bottle and also has a pump. This means that it is great for travelling and also is mess free. You can see how much product is left in the bottle and every time you pump the foundation out it moves up the tube meaning there should be no waste.

Formula- The foundation is thin in consistency and blends effortlessly into my skin. It leaves my skin looking dewy and fresh. It gives a light coverage that can be built up, to cover up my redness on my cheeks I will apply a little bit extra. It makes my skin feel really soft and I can hardly tell I'm wearing any foundation.

Colour range- There are 8 shades in this foundation and I wear the lightest in shade 51. This foundation is very yellow and helps cancel out my redness on my cheeks very well. If you have pink skin then I would recommend you steer far away from this product. If you are very pale or very dark unfortunately there isn't going to be a colour for you.

Longevity- This foundation claims that it lasts for 16 hours, I have dry skin and this last for about 8 hours on me before it starts to break down on my skin. I don't powder my skin so maybe it would last slightly longer if I did.

Overall I think this is a lovely foundation and I love the way it makes my skin look. Have any of you tried this foundation?

Not the greatest picture but this is the clearest one I could find of the foundation on my skin. As you can see it gives a really nice natural finish.

2True Bronzing Powder review

I bought this bronzer about 3 weeks ago and have been using it everyday since. I love that this bronzer isn't too orange and at the same time is doesn't make me look dirty. It is just a nice in between matte brown perfect for dusting all over the face or contouring. As it's matte I like to use this to contour my cheekbones and it does a fantastic job, it really defines them while also looking natural on my skin. This product is only £1.95 and comes in 2 shades which means that it wont suit everyone's skin tone but at such a cheap price its definitely worth trying! I love this product so much I have already brought a back up just in case I run out or lose it! I cannot recommend this product enough. Below I have included some pictures of how the product looks swatched on my arm and also on my cheeks.

Real techniques contour brush, Bronzer swatched on arm, Bronzer contoured lightly on face

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick

This lipstick/lip balm formula is so lovely, It glides onto the lips beautifully and is very pigmented! The colour that I have is called 'Lovesick' and its a bright fushia, perfect for summer or even winter to add a bit of colour to your face. I really like the packaging of this product, it is twist up which makes it a lot easier as it means you don't need a sharpener! I like the fact that the packaging is the same colour of the lipstick so when searching for a desired colour it is easily found. For me this lipstick lasts around 6 hours without any eating or drinking and it does definitely stain my lips a medium pink colour. This is what I love so much about the product, I hate applying lipstick and then an hour later is has come off! If you want a lipstick that is going to last a long time and also a bright colour for summer then I would highly recommend this product! They also do a few neutral shades in the collection. They retail for £7.99.

Here is the product on my lips, as you can see it is nicely pigmented and has a nice glossy finish, the glossiness lasts for about 1 hour on me.

The Versatile blogger award

So I was nominated by my lovely sister Vicky (http://vickyjayephotography.blogspot.co.uk/) to do this tag! My sister is a fantastic photographer and has a really good blog showing the photo shoots she has done and also talking about her day to day business.

The rules of the Award:

1. Thank the blogger who awarded you.
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself
3. Nominate 7 fellow bloggers
4. Let the nominated bloggers know they have been awarded
5. Add the Versatile Blogger Badge to your blog

So lets get stuck in!

ONE
I have a fear of dogs. Now to most people this will seem really weird but for some reason ever since I have been little I have been afraid of dogs. Most of the times I can deal with the little small ones but its just the big ones which frighten me so much! I always think they are going to bite my face off or something haha!

TWO
I literally HATE the sound of polystyrene! It's just the sound of it that makes me cringe and makes me feel sick! I haven't a clue why but I just can't stand it, whenever I buy things that contain it I have to get it away from me as quickly as possible!

THREE
I love the colour turquoise, It's such a bright and fun colour! If I could buy everything in turquoise I so would!

FOUR
I really enjoy reading, especially at night. At the moment I am currently reading the third book from the Hunger Games trilogy. The books are so good! I love reading at night, I just can't seem to read during the day!

FIVE
I'm in a long distance relationship. My boyfriend lives in Birmingham which is about 3 hours away from where I live. It can be really difficult at times and definitively makes me sad but we get through it!

SIX
I love subway, so much that me and my friend go there every week! On a Wednesday, most of the time, we will go to subway and I normally have the subway melt which is delicious! (we have been so many times I think the people who work there have started to recognise us!)

SEVEN
I really enjoy watching beauty videos on Youtube. I get so many good tips from them and can sit there for hours watching video after video!

The people I nominate

http://beeskneesofbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/ -I love reading this blog, it has really good posts and should definitely have more followers!

Sinead from http://www.daintydollymix.com/ - She does really good reviews on products and also does really good swatches of the products, her photo's are always crisp and clear!

Estee from http://www.essiebutton.com/ - Whenever I read this blog I know it will put me in a good mood! I love how she can make you laugh while still doing a really good review of a product. She is also one of my favourite youtubers!

Jessica from http://jessicabeautician.blogspot.co.uk/ - I will always come to this blog when I want to find some new skincare, She always seems to find such good skincare and she does really good reviews of everything.

Georgina from http://www.cupcakesclothes.com/ - Well for starters she has the same name as me and also has pink hair, what more could you want? She has such a cool fashion sense and I love her hair!

Seonaid from http://beautyandbaggage.blogspot.co.uk/ - I like that when she does a review of a product she shows it on her face too so we can see what the colour looks like on something other than just a hand. Really enjoy reading this blog!

Cole from http://www.coleyyyful.com/ - She does amazing nail designs and I also enjoy reading her outfit posts! Cole also has a Youtube and I really enjoy watching her.

Hope you enjoyed!
