What I'm wearing on my face! #2

It's been so hot in England lately so I've been sporting the minimal makeup look! In this photo I'm wearing Illamasqua skin base foundation in 6 which I have been absolutely loving lately, natural collection pink cloud blush, mac's all that glitters eyeshadow lightly dusted over the lid, l'oreal telescopic mascara and a little bit of lip balm. When I said I hadn't been wearing a lot I meant it, this has been my go to look pretty much most days. I can't stand wearing loads of makeup and it sweating off my face, lovely image for you there! My hair is second day curls, I've been wearing it pretty messy lately or if it's to hot I'll just shove it up into a ponytail! I feel like I haven't spoken to all you in ages, hope everyone is well! Also don't forgot that I have a giveaway going on at the moment for one of you to win a revlon lip stain!

Stylight goody bag!

Hello everyone!

Not too long ago Stylight contacted me and asked if I could do a blog post on their website, I really liked the look of their website so I was more the happy to do the review. As the people from Stylight are so lovely they sent me a little goody bag to say thank you, how nice is that of them? I thought I would show you what I got, I was so excited when it came through the door and they sent me such lovely things.

I got too excited and forgot to take a picture before I opened it, woopsie!

How cute are these bracelets?

Such a cute little note!

I love this bag, I've been using it so much lately!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Stylight for sending me this goody bag, I am so grateful! I cannot thank you enough.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette Review!

Hello Everyone!

(L-R) Venus, Foxy, W.O.S, Naked 2, Faint, Crave.

As you would have seen in my most recent post my best friend brought me the naked 2 palette, as she is such a lovely friend she brought me the basics palette too! The colours in the palette are all matte except Venus which has a slight shimmer in it. With these six shades you can do pretty much anything! As you can see the pigmentation isn't great on Foxy and W.O.S but they are really nice highlight colours and also great blending colours! That's the main thing I love about this palette, for days I don't want shimmer I will turn to this or if I want to blend out my colours I will use this. It is such a handy product to have and takes up hardly anything room! I cannot recommend this palette enough.

Have any of you tried this or the other palettes?

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Review!

After hearing so many people rave about this brush I wanted to see what all the hype was about! After using this brush I can see why everyone loves it so much. This brush is like a traditional foundation brush mixed with a buffing brush, it apply's your foundation so beautifully and the best bit about this brush is that it doesn't soak up the foundation so you aren't wasting any. This brush gives you a really natural finish and I can imagine cause of it's shape it would be really good for contouring with cream bronzer. I'm so pleased with this brush and just like the other one am really glad I added it to my collection!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Review!

(L-R) Foxy, Half baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout.

A couple of weeks ago it was my birthday and my best friend hannah brought me this palette, I think the expression on my face when I opened it showed how thankful I was! I have wanted one of the naked palettes for ages but never had the money and wasn't sure whether I wanted the first one or the second. As you can see from the swatches above the colours are really pigmented, there is a good mix of cool and warm tone colours in the palette which I love. There are 9 shimmery and 3 matte shades in the palette. I really the colour selection in this palette and for the money I think it's brilliant. If you don't have any of the palettes then I defitnley recommend you try one, I can't compare the first one as I don't have it but I can imagine the shades would be just as pigmented as this one! The palette also comes with a lipgloss and a brush which are okay products.

Real Techniques Stippling Brush Review

I recently just brought this brush and I am in love! Okay maybe that's a little too far but this brush is seriously amazing. I haven't tried using this brush for foundation yet so sorry if that's what you were looking for but what I have been using it for is blush. It apply's cream and powder blush so beautifully and seamlessly into the skin making it look so natural yet you can really build up the colour as well. This was well worth my money and I am so glad I got it! Samantha chapman is a lady on youtube under the name pixiwoo and she was the founder and creater of these brushes and boy does she know how to make a good brush!
