NYE makeup & outfit inspiration

I know this is very late but if like me you leave everything to the last minute this might be good for you! I've find some pintrest images of makeup and outfits I like the look off and thought I would show you all to get a bit of inspiration! I'm out in the evening clubbing, so think I am going to be wearing a dark smokey eye (I'm praying it wont smudge everywhere!) and a black sequin dress. My top 5 2014 memories

2014 has been a whirlwind of a year and I cannot wait to enter a new year and start completely afresh. Sometimes you can find that when you look back on what you've done for the past year you only think of the bad, well instead of dwelling on that I'm going to think of all the positive things that have happened and I think you all should too, conjure up your top 5 things that have happened and spill it into a blogpost!

1. Passing my driving test
When I was learning to drive I was really unconfident and it got to the point were I thought I was never going to pass! When my driving instructor said he was moving to Canada 4 weeks before my test and then got told by new instructor he didn't think I was ready and was going to pass made me even worse. On my driving test my examiner made small talk with me and so I asked him if he enjoyed his job, when he replied with no I thought oh dear he most defintley wont be passing me! When he turned around and said I had passed first time I was shocked and couldn't be happier. my confidence has grown so much, I've driven to london a few times and am planning on doing a longer journey soon!

2. I went on Holiday
In June I went on my first girly holiday and it was amazing, i wont talk about this too much as I've already spoken about it quite a bit and don't want to bore you all! We spent most of the time drinking, sleeping and laughing, we came back with the most pathetic tan haha I wouldn't change a thing though I loved it so much and we have both said we would go back! 

3.turned 18
Also in June I turned 18, for my birthday I went to TGIFridays for a meal and it was super yummy! I went to Thorpe park the day before and that was so fun, I love theme parks even though I do get scared before I got on roller coasters! I really enjoyed my birthday and love being 18, so fun being able to go out drinking (I don't have drinking problems I promise!) or being fancy and having a glass of wine with dinner! I don't want to get older I want to be 18 forever please. 

4. Qualified beauty therapy
In may I Finished my beauty therapy college course, as much as I thoroughly enjoyed it I was so happy when I had finished. So nice to have finally passed and can now say I am qualified in both level 2&3! I now work at a salon and its so lovely meeting new people and chatting away to clients, always something to exciting happening!


5. Made new friends
Over the past year I have made some amazing friends, from the salon and through other people. The girls from the salon are so lovely and we all get on so well, I am so lucky to have met them and have them in my life! One of my best friends Kieran I met in the summer and we clicked instantly, we always have such a laugh when we do stuff together and he has been there for me through a lot of tough times! 

I have really enjoyed writing this post, it keeps you positive and makes you realise all the good things in life.

So recently I was going through the lovely Sineads blog ( You can read it here) and I saw this tag and thought it was be fun to do! Going through it I noticed loads of my answers were the same as Sineads, great minds think alike!

1. What are you wearing?

I'm in jeans, a strappy top and cardigan!

2. Ever been in love? 

Yes I have and its such a lovely feeling!

3. Ever had a terrible break up?

Quite recently me and my boyfriend broke up and unfortunately it wasn't the nicest split, its funny how when things happen suddenly people show their true colours!

4: How tall are you?

I'm 5 ft 6 and a 1/2! 

5: How much do you weigh? 

At the moment I'm around 11 stone, put on a bit of weight lately with all my awful snacking! 

6: Any tattoos?

Not at the moment, but I either want to get one on my ribs or wrist (Unique I know haha)

7: Any piercings?

I've just got one in each ear, i used to have my forward helix pierced but had to take it out for college, I would love to get some more piercings but its quite difficult with my job!

8: OTP?

The fact I had to look up what that meant just goes to show I don't have one. 

9: Favorite show?

I've been really enjoying our girl lately. I love pretty little liars and have so much to catch up on, I don't really tend to watch much tv. 

10: Favorite bands?

This changes all the time, anything I can dance to and I'm good to go!

11: Something you miss? 

At the moment I miss my bestfriend, she recently got a new boyfriend so I haven't really seen her much.

It has to be shake it off by Taylor swift but it changes all the time.

I'm 18.

15: Quality you look for in a partner?

Someone who is genuine and down to earth is so important to me. Although as long as they are good to me and I'm happy thats all that really matters.

16: Favorite Quote? 

I have two (cheating here) my first one is 'Treat others how you wanted to be treated' and my second is Dream as if you'll live forever and live as if you'll die today'. I try and live my life by both of them quotes. 

18: Favorite color?

Turquoise is my favorite, my whole room is pretty much that colour! 

19: Loud music or soft?

I love loud music, especially on a night out or if i'm in my car, I'm that weirdo that sings at the top of my and people think what the hell are they doing! 

20: Where do you go when you’re sad?

Sometimes I'll go to mum and have a cuddle and chat or I'll go for a drive somewhere and just listen to some music.

21: How long does it take you to shower?

I spend so long it the shower, normally about 30 minutes! Its just so warm in there I never want to get out. 

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

It all depends on were I'm going and how long I spent snoozing the alarm! Can vary from 10 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.

23: Ever been in a physical fight?

In year 6 one time I slapped a girl because she decided to start clawing me haha other then that I haven't been in a fight and if I was I'd be on the floor in a second!

24: Turn on?

Tall people, I love when guys are tall!

Being chavy, hands down their trousers, being rude to girls, no respect. Oh man the list could go on and on!

Death, I know lots of people fear this but I can get really bad panic attacks about it sometimes.

Seeing my nan as she isn't very well at the moment.

Time changes everything

Hi everyone, hope your all okay! Its been a while since I've posted anything and lots of things have changed. I've been meaning to write this post for ages but have been so busy I've haven't had the time!

About 4 months ago I got a job in a salon and have been really enjoying it. I was so lucky as I managed to get it before I left college, so it meant I was settled and wouldn't be in a panic at the end! It was scary to begin with, meeting new people, getting used to their way of doing things and most of all doing treatments on real life paying customers! I cant believe how quick it has gone as I feel like I only just started there yesterday!

I then in June went on my first girly holiday with no parents. This was such an eye opener to all the freedom you can have and just life in general! We stayed in a hotel in Ibiza and were all inclusive. It was so lovely we both had such a good time, I definitely want to go back there at some point! We met some amazing people and had a bit too much to drink on some nights haha!

 With all that excitement unfortunately there has to be something not so good, me and my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years broke up recently. This has been a really tough time for me and I know its going to be a while until it feels okay. This was my first real love and even though it didnt end on the nicest of terms I dont regret anything, its a part of my life and it makes me who I am today. Unfortunately these things do happen but you just carry on and surround yourself with the people who mean the most, this is what I have found to be the best thing to do. I've found it difficult to even feel like blogging at the moment which is such a shame as its always been something I've enjoyed! fingers crossed I will start getting back into it, even if its just once a week, I've missed all you lovely lot!

Spring/summer clothing haul 2014

   
Hello everyone, I hope your all well! Life has been so hectic lately and i've had hardly any time to blog! I'm so sorry, i really have missed you all! I have now finished college so hopefully I now should be able to blog more! I am off on holiday to Ibiza at the end of June so have been buying lots of holiday/summer clothes, these weren't all brought at once they have been collected over a few months! Just to warn you this post is going to be very picture heavy!


First up we have Topshop

          


 


I brought this crop top in the Christmas sales for a bargain price of £3! The black jeans are the Leigh jeans, these are super stretchy and so comfy, they have washed up really well and still fit like when I first got them. The cropped cami is a bright neon coral and I can't wait to wear this in the summer teamed with some high waisted shorts. Talking of the devil, I got these shorts for £30 and they are such a lovely fit, they are high waisted but cover you up really well (I don't think anyone wants to see my bum cheeks).

 These bits are all from Dorothy Perkins, Since working in bhs (we have a DP concession in our store) I have brought so many clothes from there. They might as well just give my salary in gift vouchers some months! Its so bad sometimes I have to tell myself no Georgina you can't have any more, you have enough! I love this navy maxi dress, it has two small slits at the side as is super flattering. The floral top is so easy to just throw on when it gets a bit warmer, nice and loose for the summer heat. How lovely is this jewel top? Perfect to dress up for fancy dinner or even a night out on the town! These two dresses are going to be perfect for holiday, at around £20 each they are the perfect thing to just throw on and head out. You can dress them up or just go casual, a summer staple!

 

     


 

This maxi skirt was such a bargain for under £10, they are so versatile and perfect for the evening when it starts getting a little colder. The two shorts were £4 each and I got these just to wear to the beach or if I'm going someehere and i'm not too worried what i look like. I got lots of the little camis and they were only £2, such a bargain! I can't wait to wear the green cropped cami with some high waisted shorts.

 

These dresses are from boohoo and I thought they were a great summer piece and were only £8, They are so lightweight and loose fitting, really comfortable to wear. I think these shorts are going to look really good with a a top tucked into them with some sandals for the day time and then heels for the night.

 

This top is from BHS and it was a bit of a spur of the moment buy, I will definitely get use out of it for casual days. I can't wait to wear this dress on holiday, I love it! I can't remember the price exactly but I remember it being around the £10 mark which i think is brilliant for a dress like this! The dress is from forever 21, they had an aqua colour as well which i have my eye on!

 
The first pair of heels are from new look and I am so glad I brought them, they cost around £25, I have worn these on a night out and they were the most comfiest shoes ever, my feet did hurt right at the end but that was after hours of dancing in them! The second pair I haven't worn yet but these were only £5 from new look in their sale so I couldn't resist buying!

I love these chunky heels from new look, I tried them on in store and surprisingly they were super comfy. Now with the weather starting to get a bit warmer I feel like I can start my search for some sandals, Asos have some really nice pairs this year but these were my two favourite pics, the one with the buckle also come in the most beautiful blue colour. If I do get them I'm going to struggle whether to go for the blue or black! Finally I am on the hunt for some chelsea boots and these are exactly what I'm after and a really affordable price!

OOTN: 2 year anniversary

Maybelline brow drama review!

Hello everyone!

My eyebrows are big, bushy and do not like to stay in place. I had heard many mixed reviews about this product, at only £4.99 I thought I would give it a go as it wouldn't be too much money wasted if I didn't like it. I am so glad I did buy this as I love it! 

As you can see from the photo above, my brows are very messy. This brow gel brushes them into place adding a tiny tint to the hairs, making them look groomed and like I put effort in! If you don't have many sparse places and you just want something that will keep your brows in place and add a small tint of colour then I think this will be the perfect product for you! The only bad point I have  is there are only 3 shades available, so not many to choose from, I use the colour medium brown.

L'oreal manga mascara review!

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to be talking about L'Oreal latest mascara, There are 3 shades available, black, turquoise and tropical violet. I picked up the shade tropical violet as purple is good for bringing out hazel eyes. I have done some before and after so you can see how well the product apply's to my lashes.

Natural lashes, one coat, two coats

As you can see it adds so much length and volume to my lashes, I am so pleased with this mascara. It doesn't really show in camera but in real life it makes the green/yellow parts of my eye stand out so much more! This mascara lasts all day and doesn't smudge one bit, tropical violet is a very wearable shade so great for everyday use. I can't recommend this mascara enough and at the moment its only £5.99 (original price £8.99) so grab it for a bargain while you can!
