L'oreal manga mascara review!

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to be talking about L'Oreal latest mascara, There are 3 shades available, black, turquoise and tropical violet. I picked up the shade tropical violet as purple is good for bringing out hazel eyes. I have done some before and after so you can see how well the product apply's to my lashes.

Natural lashes, one coat, two coats

As you can see it adds so much length and volume to my lashes, I am so pleased with this mascara. It doesn't really show in camera but in real life it makes the green/yellow parts of my eye stand out so much more! This mascara lasts all day and doesn't smudge one bit, tropical violet is a very wearable shade so great for everyday use. I can't recommend this mascara enough and at the moment its only £5.99 (original price £8.99) so grab it for a bargain while you can!

What I'm wearing on my face! #3

I'm really not photogenic!

Today I'm wearing No7 stay perfect foundation in the shade calico with rimmel's stay matter pressed powder over the top and MUA's bittersweet cream blush on my cheeks. On my eyes I have a NYX jumbo eye pencil in the shade french fries, L'oreal telescopic mascara and collection 2000 liquid eyeliner. For eyeshadow I used my naked 2 palette and I used the shades foxy, bootcall, snakebite and suspect! On the lips I lightly pressed on revlon's kissable balm stain in honey.

What I'm wearing on my face! #2

It's been so hot in England lately so I've been sporting the minimal makeup look! In this photo I'm wearing Illamasqua skin base foundation in 6 which I have been absolutely loving lately, natural collection pink cloud blush, mac's all that glitters eyeshadow lightly dusted over the lid, l'oreal telescopic mascara and a little bit of lip balm. When I said I hadn't been wearing a lot I meant it, this has been my go to look pretty much most days. I can't stand wearing loads of makeup and it sweating off my face, lovely image for you there! My hair is second day curls, I've been wearing it pretty messy lately or if it's to hot I'll just shove it up into a ponytail! I feel like I haven't spoken to all you in ages, hope everyone is well! Also don't forgot that I have a giveaway going on at the moment for one of you to win a revlon lip stain!

L'oreal false lash telescopic mascara review

I have been using this mascara for the past 6 months and I absolutely love it! As you can see from the photo above it has a thin and plastic wand, this really helps with definition and making sure the lashes don't go clumpy. This mascara gives my lashes so much length and creates a small amount of volume. I have included some photo's below so you can see what the mascara looks like on the lashes.

These are my bare lashes (sorry it's not in focus!)

This is one coat of mascara, even with just a thin coat you can create a nice amount of volume.

This is two coats of mascara, I prefer to do two coats as this creates the most length and volume for me.

This mascara is brilliant, I have it in the waterproof formula and it does not smudge all day! It's amazing! I can't comment on how well it would wear in say a swimming pool but I have been in the rain before and it hasn't budged one bit! I highly recommend you all check out this mascara as it is definitely my favourite. At£10.99 a tube I do think that it is a tad expensive but it is so worth it!

Lana Del Rey makeup look

I absolutely adore Lana Del Rey's makeup, her skin is always so flawless and I love the effortless dark crease she often wears. I had seen a tutorial on the makeup in the first photo and thought I would have a go at it. The photo's below show my take on the makeup.

Now I'm never going to look like Lana Del Rey but i'm pretty happy with how this turned out! These are the products I used incase any of you are intrested.

No7 Stay Perfect foundation

Rimmel stay matte powder

Mac Charcoal brown eyeshadow (used on the brows and also in the crease)

Light brown, dark brown, white and cream eyeshadow from a palette I got on ebay

L'oreal telescopic mascara

False lashes

Maybelline gel eyeliner in black

NYC bronzer in sunny

Mua Intense lipgloss in Sealed with a kiss
