NYE makeup & outfit inspiration

I know this is very late but if like me you leave everything to the last minute this might be good for you! I've find some pintrest images of makeup and outfits I like the look off and thought I would show you all to get a bit of inspiration! I'm out in the evening clubbing, so think I am going to be wearing a dark smokey eye (I'm praying it wont smudge everywhere!) and a black sequin dress. I will be doing a post on how I did my hair, makeup, nails and outfit on the night. What are all your plans, please tell me in the comments!

Clinique take the day off cleansing balm review!

Today I'm going to be talking a product that almost every beauty blogger owns. This is Clinique's version of a cleansing balm and works wonderfully. If you've never heard of a cleansing balm before they are hard, like lard texture but once they come into contact with skin they melt into an oil. Unlike other cleansing balms Clinique's is 100% fragrance free, so great for us sensitive skin girls (and guys)! I had never tried a cleansing balm before this but I am well and truly hooked now! They feel so relaxing at night time massaging the product into the skin and the product really dissolves all the makeup away, even waterproof mascara! My skin feels so clean afterwards but it doesn't feel like it's been stripped off any oils! Clinique's TTDO cleansing balm will cost you £21 which is quite a bit for a cleanser but it isn't the most expensive out there and really is worth the price! I highly recommend this product is you're on the lookout for a cleansing balm and also if you have sensitive skin!

Have any of you tried this cleansing balm? Or any others?

Rimmel Apocalips: New shades ( With lip swatches)

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well!

A couple of weeks ago I browsing the counters in boots and was looking at the rimmel stand when I noticed there were new shades in the Apocalips collection! I think there was about 5-6 different shades but I only picked up two as they were the ones that stood out to me the most.

The two shades I picked up were Eclipse and Across the universe.

Across the universe is a deep red with blue undertones. It is much deeper then what it looks like in the photo but I had a difficult time getting the colour to come across on camera! Much darker then the other red in the collection called big bang which is a true pillar box red.

Eclipse is a deep purple plum colour. I have been wearing this so much lately and I know I will get so much use out of it when it starts to get a bit colder. In the tube it looks like a really scary dark colour but on the lips it just turns into a perfect winter colour.

Here I have blotted my lips as this is a way I love to wear this product as it's berry tones really start to come through when the shine has gone.

I am so glad I purchased these two colours, they are just like the other apocalips, they last for a really long time and are beautiful colours!

I went shopping! #2

Me and my mum went shopping recently at a shopping center near us, it was only meant to be a short look around but as usual I took forever looking around the shops and 4 hours had passed! I'm really happy with the bits I got and thought you all might like to have a little look at what I got!

Botanics eye makeup remover- £3.99
This is my favourite product for removing my eye makeup and my waterproof mascara!

Soap and glory feel good factor- £12
I haven't had chance to use this yet but as I'm going to Greece in a few weeks I thought this would be good to get. My skin is quite sensitive so I didn't want to be putting an old sun tan lotion on it, as this is specific for the face I thought it would be good.

Avene extremely gentle cleanser- £8
Last time my skin was going through a sensitive stage I used this cleanser and it really helped my skin get better so I'm hoping it will help again.

Collection concelar- £3.99
Balmi lip balm- £4.99

LUSH Love Lettuce- £5.95
I only like to get this product every once in a while as I think they are quite expensive for how long it lasts. Like I said above I am going on holiday in a few weeks so I want to make my skin perfect before the holiday!

First shorts- £16.25
Second shorts- £12.75
First place I went was forever 21, I love the shorts I got so much! I really wanted to get a classic denim short as these go with so much, I think the white crochet adds a really nice touch and is so cute. The second  pair are bright blue and so fun!

Maxi dress- £12
This dress is so flattering and it sits by my ankles so doesn't scrape along the floor.

New Look Crop top- £6.99

The next few bits I got are from Matalan-

Boobtube- £6

Beach cover up- £6

Trousers- £12
I am wearing these in my most recent OOTD

I then got some shoes from Primark

Sandals- £4

Thought it would be good for you to see them on

Sandals- £3.50

I also got a pair in Lilac as you can see! These aren't the most sturdy but for £3.50 I couldn't resist!

I will be doing some outfit posts in these clothes in the future so keep an eye out for them!
Hope you all enjoyed having a look at what I got.
